2022 Conference Speakers

Pastor Neil Stewart

Dr. Neil C. Stewart is the minister of Christ Covenant Church (ARP) in Greensboro, North Carolina. He's addressed numerous conferences throughout the United States and Canada, contributed to several books (including: On Reforming Worship; Surviving the Goldfish Bowl: Letters to Pastors’ Kids; and Letters to Pastors’ Wives: When Seminary Ends and Ministry Begins), and was recently featured in Les Lanphere's film, Spirit and Truth

Before moving to America in 1999, Neil studied medicine at the Queens University of Belfast, where he received the Ulster Hospital Gold medal in Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Pediatrics. Neil worked as a pediatrician at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children and was elected a member of the pediatric branch of the Royal College of Physicians in 1998.

Since coming to the United States, Neil earned a Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary and pastored congregations of the Presbyterian Church in America in rural Mississippi and Savannah, GA.

Jim Van Eerden

Jim Van Eerden is an Elder in the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. He is completing his doctorate in global education and has been studying catechism for more than a decade, a subject that is the focus of his dissertation.

 

In the workplace, Jim is a media and technology entrepreneur and CEO of 5th Element, a global management consulting firm.  He has focused on building companies that promote the common good, and has served as counsel to executives for some of the world's largest brands and non-profits.

Jim has also served as Executive Producer for several award-winning feature films. He has been a speaker on business and social entrepreneurship at forums including the Nobel Peace Prize Forum, The United Nations and the World Economic Forum, and has served as Entrepreneur in Residence and Adjunct Faculty at Grove City College and as a guest lecturer at universities around the world.
